Integrated Commissioning

Commissioning is about specifying and purchasing the services we need in the most cost-effective way to deliver the quality and capacity we require. This Children and Young People’s Plan is helping to identify how we need to commission services to meet the needs of children, young people and their families.
The Children's Trust Pathfinder developed a commissioning framework, which has been ratified by the children's Board for the Children's Trust. The framework describes the values and principles on which joint commissioning will be established. Our model for commissioning is needs based, building on our frameworks of common assessment and children in need.
