The Isle is a mainly rural area to the west of North Lincolnshire, with the two small market towns of Crowle and Epworth.

  • The total population of the locality is 20541 people (13.4% of the North Lincolnshire population)
  • There are 4505 children and young people aged 0-17 (22%)
  • 1.7% of the population were from a non-white background in 2001
  • Key Stage 1,2 and 3 results (2006/07) for the Isle were above the average for North Lincolnshire
  • 68% of pupils in 2006/07 received 5 or more A*-C GCSEs (North Lincolnshire Average - 60%)
