Aiming High for Disabeld Children (AHDC) is a major government intiative which aims to transform the lives of children and young people with disabilities and/or additional needs, as well as that of their families. The views of parents carers are cruicial to shaping new Short Break services in North Lincolnshire.
The Government wants to see an increase in the number of Short Breaks for parents carers and their children and we hope to draw down funding of £1.13 million to enable this to happen.
A number of Consultation Events are being held for the Parent Carers of disabled children and young people, and this is an exciting opportunity for them to have their say on how new services will be developed to meet their needs.
