North Lincolnshire Community Pot

Voluntary Action North Lincolnshire (VANL) have been successful in their application to be a Local Funder for the small grants element of the Grassroots Grants programme, in North Lincolnshire.  The grants will be distributed monthly through the community pot.

The purpose of the programme is to support small informal voluntary and community groups and organisation, to deliver their activities.  Whether it's helping local clubs get hold of new kit, coaching new volunteers or simply giving the village hall a fresh lick of paint, Grassroots Grants aim to make a real and immediate difference to the work of North Lincolnshire's small and local community groups.  Funds will be available over a three year period, September 2008 - March 2011.  The maximum grant available (over the 3 year period) will be £5000 and the minimum will be £250.  Eligible organisations must be volunteer-led, have been active in their local community for not less than 12 months, have a governing document and an income of less than £20,000 per annum.
